The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Crystal found a gap and took the lead. Strong Ship followed before Admiral Ackbar.

This is the positions after 500m. Hard Too Concentrate, Moonlight Thinker, Titan Pegasos, Gentleman Strategy, Perfect Crystal, Superman Joe, Strong Ship, Big Platinum. A bird flew just in front of Pagliuca who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Gentleman Strategy took the lead after 1000m. Superman Joe didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Big Platinum was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Titan Pegasos was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gentleman Strategy followed by Strong Ship and Pagliuca. Lane two Perfect Crystal followed by Admiral Ackbar and Big Platinum.

Gentleman Strategy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Per Lennartsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Pagliuca started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Perfect Crystal made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Strong Ship.
