One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bonjour Lundi sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Rolling Cake started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Slow Snake who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Duquesne Whistle looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Keaton Hof couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bonjour Lundi.




Slow Snake looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Slow Snake didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Slow Snake sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Slow Snake. Duquesne Whistle came in second. Bonjour Lundi became third.
