The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tripping Cherry could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Daniel Redén wanted a little to much in the start and Tripping Cherry galoped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Pink Whirlwind started to galop and lost 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Lonely Wish, Heavenly Cocktail, Monday Closet, Opposing Spring, Singing Mistress, Criminal Crystal, Lucky Gold, Frosty Biscuit. A bird flew just in front of Pink Whirlwind who started to galop and lost 40 m. Stretching Heat showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Monday Closet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tripping Cherry couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lonely Wish.

Heavenly Cocktail never caught up with Monday Closet who won. Lucky Gold came third.
