The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mariehamn this day.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Close Blast found a gap and took the lead. Advanced Piece followed before Screaming Star. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Scrooge galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Advanced Piece today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Close Blast gallopped for 30 m.



Close Blast showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Gefällt Stern litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Scrooge galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Close Blast won. Growing Legend came in second. Screaming Star caught third place.
