The sun was shining on Mariehamn today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fire Into Speed. Étendue Pour Amour ended up behind the leader. Texas Cowboy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field The Right Thing started to galop and lost 20 m.

Intelligent Stone saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Black Burt sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Windy Winter made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before The Right Thing.
