One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Sleepy Rocket could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Hans-Owe Sundberg wanted a little to much in the start and Sleepy Rocket galoped for 40 m. Carl-Erik Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Tranquil Necklace galoped for 10 m. This is the positions after 500m. Pretty Twister, Jeannine, Tranquil Necklace, Tropical Moment, Ghostly Thinker, Sleepy Rocket, Moonlight Starlight, Opmerkelijk. A bird flew just in front of Opmerkelijk who started to galop and lost 10 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Opmerkelijk galop. Opmerkelijk lost 50 m. Winner of todays race was Pretty Twister. Ghostly Thinker came in second. Sleepy Rocket became third. Results
