One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wolly Cookie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Funky Garden that came steaming ahead. Shining Sparrow galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Wolly Cookie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Funky Garden was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Asparagus took the lead rather easily. Drunken Sailor showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Asparagus was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Running Pirate gallopped for 40 m.

Asparagus sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Björn Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Funky Garden started to galopp and lost 50 m. Olle Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Shining Sparrow started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Asparagus didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
