One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lome Pinto could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Runs Like Poethry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Big Express accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Big Express kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Lome Pinto galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Big Express didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
