The weather had been good all week and Jarlsberg was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Amber Orchid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Moni Rebel that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Moni Rebel sprinted to the front.




Moni Rebel took the lead after 1000m. Amber Orchid didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Moni Rebel today. It continued in the lead.



Amber Orchid was first on the homestretch followed by Moni Rebel and Gemini Eight.






No-one could catch Amber Orchid today who won before Moni Rebel and Gemini Eight.
