The sun was shining on Eskilstuna and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Shooting Knight. Pirates Knight ended up behind the leader. Smiling Cupcake got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Smiling Cupcake was disturbed and galoped 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Monday Beauty who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Cute Lily suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shooting Knight followed by Quick Steel and Smiling Cupcake. Lane two Pirates Knight followed by Monday Beauty and Frozen Movement. Cute Lily galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Shooting Knight were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Final standings. 1 Pirates Knight, 2 Shooting Knight, 3 Monday Beauty.
