One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gouge Away. Electric Pie ended up behind the leader. Congaree got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Electric Pie, Slow Snake, Sly Star, Congaree, Cool Man, Gouge Away, Fair Girl, Wandering Grove.

Sly Star sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Congaree looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Magic Passion gallopped for 20 m.

Congaree sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Gouge Away litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Magic Passion was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Congaree sprinted over the finishline before Gouge Away and Cool Man.
