One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tremendous Empire sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Vurenhout saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Purple Cookie who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Vurenhout clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Lying Glitter galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Shooting Cruiser looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Vurenhout galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Tremendous Empire litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Tremendous Empire didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
