One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Expensive Daffodil was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Slippery Cube was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Expensive Daffodil was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Expensive Daffodil today. It continued in the lead.




Expensive Daffodil kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Slippery Cube galoped for 50 m. Expensive Daffodil sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Expensive Daffodil didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
