One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Opinion Publique could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Happy Lieutenant, Outspoken Missile, Just Strategy, Tough Tiger, Opinion Publique, King Perfect, Reach Out, Operator Jim. Carlos Aurora galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Opinion Publique took the lead rather easily. Operator Jim galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Outspoken Missile galloped way to long and was disqualified. Just Strategy suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Opinion Publique was still in the lead after 1500m.




Opinion Publique kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Operator Jim galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Opinion Publique were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Tough Tiger made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Opinion Publique.
