The weather had been good all week and Mantorp was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Listening Boulder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Walking Gold looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Helpful Body couldn't come out from behind the leader, Listening Boulder.




Listening Boulder was still in the lead after 1500m.




Listening Boulder was still in the lead after 2000m.



Listening Boulder sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






No-one could catch Listening Boulder today who won before Walking Gold and Helpful Body.
