The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Moon took the lead after a very quick start. Jolly Queen was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Classic Hit looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dream Away Glory couldn't come out from behind the leader, Slow Moon.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Slow Moon today. It continued in the lead.




Slow Moon sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Pointing Brightness galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Slow Moon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Listening Puma galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Classic Hit never caught up with Slow Moon who won. Pointing Thought came third.
