One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Metz Entertainer took the lead after a very quick start.




Frosty Ring quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Skipping Carneval started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Falling Galaxy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Strong Space galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Galaxy followed by Dusty Giggle and Beauty Without Cause. Lane two Lapsi Kokea followed by Metz Entertainer and Outspoken General.



Falling Galaxy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Beauty Without Cause, 2 Metz Entertainer, 3 Lapsi Kokea.
