The sun was shining on Karlshamn and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Coughing Moon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tommy Zackrisson wanted a little to much in the start and Fighting Map galoped for 30 m. Stepping Whirlwind suddenly started to galop. Fredrik Persson had to struggle to get Stepping Whirlwind to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Slippery Work, Counterfeit Girl, Shining Witch, Fighting Map, Stepping Whirlwind, L'Étoile Mystérieuse, Come By Chance, Cute Ballerina. Coughing Moon started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Sad Tropic was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
