One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flower Ballerina tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Strong Piece that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Fool Me Once started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Flower Ballerina looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glittering Crystal couldn't come out from behind the leader, Strong Piece. Tax Payer galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Winner of todays race was Strong Piece. Glittering Crystal came in second. Mrs. Robinson became third.
