The weather had been good all week and Lappeenranta was in good shape.

Mad Sunshine took the lead after 1000m. Derniere Minute didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mad Sunshine today. It continued in the lead.

Mad Sunshine looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Rival Andersen sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
