The weather had been good all week and Bergen was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

On A Line sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.

On A Line was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Fast Night looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Windy Top couldn't come out from behind the leader, On A Line. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Windy Top looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Troubling Daffodil gallopped for 30 m.

On A Line speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

On A Line didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
