One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Le Mans Racer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Waving Witch was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Playing Sky saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Playing Sky was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sneaky Sound gallopped for 50 m.



Playing Sky sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Le Mans Racer sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
