The sun was shining on Kalmar today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stopping Titan found a gap and took the lead. Close Muscle followed before Manic Depression.




Tier saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Manic Depression took the lead rather easily. Stopping Titan galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Manic Depression was still in the lead after 1500m. Stopping Titan showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



With only a little left of the race Stopping Titan galoped for 20 m. Manic Depression looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Le Cactus galop. Le Cactus lost 10 m.




Final standings. 1 Close Muscle, 2 Manic Depression, 3 Cosmic Rose.
