It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Runs Like Poethry took the lead after a very quick start. Runs Like Poethry was in fine shape and held the lead. Wasted Opportunity sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wasted Opportunity followed by Surpuppan and Perfect Miracle. Lane two Runs Like Poethry followed by Gott Nytt År and Whistler. Surpuppan took the lead. Surpuppan kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Runs Like Poethry won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
