One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hurricane Gilbert was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Prince Coverage galoped for 30 m.

Singing Ring quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Travelling Ruby sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Useless Meltdown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Travelling Ruby was still in the lead after 1500m.

Travelling Ruby were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Axel Jacobsen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Travelling Ruby started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Forceful Striker won the race after a spectacular finish.
