The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Cannonball.
Der Maschinist ended up behind the leader.
Goofy Spring got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Kvarngärdets Freja was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
Der Maschinist took the lead after 1000m.
Goofy Spring didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Der Maschinist today. It continued in the lead.

Kvarngärdets Freja was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
Der Maschinist looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Tom Horpestad tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Der Maschinist started to galopp and lost 40 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Kvarngärdets Freja galop.
Kvarngärdets Freja lost 20 m.
