The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wandering Necklace. Catgoesmjau ended up behind the leader. Pucky Learl got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Pucky Learl, Oliver Kahn, Catgoesmjau, Pinkifier, Wandering Necklace, Bye Bye Beautiful, , .




The leader got disturbed by something and Pinkifier took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pinkifier followed by Oliver Kahn and Catgoesmjau. Lane two Wandering Necklace followed by Pucky Learl and Bye Bye Beautiful. Catgoesmjau started to gallop after 1500m and Jon Walter Pedersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Wandering Necklace suddenly took over the lead.



Wandering Necklace sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Pinkifier was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Bye Bye Beautiful galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Winner of todays race was Wandering Necklace. Pucky Learl came in second. Oliver Kahn became third.
