It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fight For Freedom sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Veijo Heiskanen wanted a little to much in the start and Muscular Hero galoped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Muscular Hero sprinted to the front.




Grasping Addiction took the lead after 1000m. Joybringer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Helpful Dribbler was disturbed and galoped 50 m.
