One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lome Pinto could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Snowy Plan looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Wondering Box couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lome Pinto.

Snowy Plan looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Lome Pinto showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Snowy Plan sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Wondering Box sprinted over the finishline before Snowy Plan and Dusty Cup.
