One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dead Satellite took the lead after a very quick start. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen wanted a little to much in the start and Antoinette galoped for 10 m. When the startcar left the field Dead Satellite started to galop and lost 50 m.

Helpful Technology looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slim Pickings Cherry couldn't come out from behind the leader, Antoinette.

Vom Himmel sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
