Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lappeenranta track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Key To Victory took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Edes Koetus saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Edes Koetus was still in the lead after 1500m.



Eri Mitoittaa was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Eri Mitoittaa galoped for 40 m. Edes Koetus were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Edes Koetus didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
