The weather had been good all week and Kouvola was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Monsieur D'aout could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.

Lying Wave was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lying Wave followed by Saint Of Hearts and . Lane two Monsieur D'aout followed by and . Saint Of Hearts galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Saint Of Hearts galoped for 50 m. Lying Wave sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Saint Of Hearts galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Monsieur D'aout won the race after a spectacular finish.
