One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Cruiser took the lead after a very quick start. Powerful Cruiser was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Platinum Runner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Powerful Cruiser couldn't come out from behind the leader, First Dream.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Powerful Cruiser today. It continued in the lead. Rapid Shooter galloped for 30 m.




Powerful Cruiser was still in the lead after 2000m.



Powerful Cruiser sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Rapid Shooter to trotting so they were disqualified. Rapid Shooter galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




No-one could catch Platinum Runner today who won before Like A Cheetah and Powerful Cruiser.
