The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Shining Rhapsody tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Wild Thinker that came steaming ahead.




Wild Thinker was in fine shape and held the lead.




Wild Thinker clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Wild Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m.




Wild Thinker sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Shining Rhapsody suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Aluminium Shoe made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Wild Thinker.
