The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Unlimited Power was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Falling Energy was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Ghostly Whirlwind started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lézard sprinted to the front.




Lézard was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ghostly Whirlwind galop. Ghostly Whirlwind lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Lézard today who won before Criterion and Rugged Hero.
