Only a humble breeze blew over Riihimäki this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dominant Wave tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Coughing Doll that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Dominant Wave, Coughing Doll, Seductive Tank, Knowaboutme, Il Prete Rosso, Aggressive Motor, Monday Diamond, Loyal Lizard. A bird flew just in front of Il Prete Rosso who started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Coughing Doll took the lead rather easily.




Seductive Tank looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Coughing Doll speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Dominant Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
