It had been raining for several days at Bergen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Radish was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Siggiewi saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Siggiewi clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Silly Viper showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Siggiewi followed by Madame Adjani and Silver Dancer. Lane two Radish followed by Chambolle Musigny and Silly Viper. Radish started to gallop after 1500m and Ann-Kristin Rasmussen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Siggiewi kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Siggiewi kept the speed the whole finish and won before Radish and Madame Adjani.
