One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Good Looking Paradigm took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Honourable Runner, Power Platinum, Hard Tiger, Total Dedication, Quarcio Du Chene, Il Interno, Dead Sword, Good Looking Paradigm. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Luiden Mijn who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Total Dedication accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Good Looking Paradigm suddenly took over the lead. Unknown gallopped 40 m after 2000m. Gendarme galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Gendarme galoped for 40 m. Hard Tiger speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gendarme was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Happy Sniper was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Good Looking Paradigm made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Hard Tiger.
