The sun was shining on Arvika today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kvarngärdets Orion took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Ticking Fox started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sleeping Wind, Ticking Fox, Kvarngärdets Orion, Strong Wolf, Competitive Admiral, Metronomo, Are You Experienced, .




Competitive Admiral took the lead after 1000m. Metronomo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Competitive Admiral followed by Are You Experienced and Sleeping Wind. Lane two Kvarngärdets Orion followed by Ticking Fox and Metronomo.



Are You Experienced galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Competitive Admiral kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Kvarngärdets Orion made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Competitive Admiral.
