Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Vaggeryd track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Croire Éléments. Robinson ended up behind the leader. Milk And We got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Assisted By sprinted to the front.

Croire Éléments looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sad Thinking couldn't come out from behind the leader, Assisted By.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Assisted By followed by Sad Thinking and Tribute To Gizmo. Lane two Croire Éléments followed by Milk And We and Robinson.

Croire Éléments suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
