It had been raining for several days at Kaustinen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Vanilla could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Helpful Knight suddenly started to galop. Pekka Korpi had to struggle to get Helpful Knight to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




Brown Technology saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Beautiful Godiva looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tough Moment couldn't come out from behind the leader, Brown Technology. Helpful Knight suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Neon Love showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Brown Technology followed by Tough Moment and Beautiful Godiva. Lane two Clever Puma followed by Wondering Vanilla and Helpful Knight.



Brown Technology looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Clever Puma, 2 Wondering Vanilla, 3 Tough Moment.
