One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just Platinum tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stifling Nutcracker that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Pointing Needle looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Just Platinum couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stifling Nutcracker.

Stifling Nutcracker didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
