The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Visby today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Profiteer. Kansas Treasure ended up behind the leader. Red Rose got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Profiteer was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Athletic Admiral looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Kansas Treasure was first on the homestretch followed by Red Rose and Athletic Admiral. Red Rose never caught up with Kansas Treasure who won. Athletic Admiral came third. Results
