One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were

Splendeur ended up behind the leader.
Archibald Duke got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Zoeterd Zegepraal suddenly started to galop. Asbjørn Mehla had to struggle to get Zoeterd Zegepraal to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Thor Borg wanted a little to much in the start and Splendeur galoped for 50 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. driver couldn't keep
Zoeterd Zegepraal to trotting so they were disqualified.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Movement today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Movement looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Zoeterd Zegepraal started to galopp and lost 50 m.
No Longer A Cowboy won the race after a spectacular finish.
