The sun was shining on Skellefteå and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mermaid Festis took the lead after a very quick start. Per Gustafsson wanted a little to much in the start and Silly Walk Hoof galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sleeping Gal, Competitive Crusher, Criminal Dream, Perla D'oro, Clever Sword, Useless Vacation, Mermaid Festis, Strong Stone. Silly Walk Hoof showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Competitive Crusher took the lead after 1000m. Clever Sword didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Sleeping Gal showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Competitive Crusher today. It continued in the lead.

Competitive Crusher kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Criminal Dream was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Strong Stone sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
