The sun was shining on Kaustinen and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Passion De Perle found a gap and took the lead. Ulka Larockma followed before Sandy-bell Festis. Harri Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and Lonely Cocktail galoped for 50 m.




Purple Meadow quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Because Rose sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Because Rose today. It continued in the lead.



Purple Meadow litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sandy-bell Festis made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Because Rose.
