One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Strong Mustache sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Moonlight Thinker sprinted to the front.




Moonlight Thinker was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Moonlight Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m.




Moonlight Thinker was still in the lead after 2000m.



Moonlight Thinker speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was The Duke. Moonlight Thinker came in second. Strong Mustache became third.
