The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Call Money. Seductive Nova ended up behind the leader. Champion Du Champagne got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Sliding Rocker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Call Money sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Call Money accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Call Money sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gunnar Eggen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sliding Rocker started to galopp and lost 30 m.




No-one could catch Call Money today who won before Giggling Breeze and Champion Du Champagne.
