The weather had been good all week and Solänget was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Flower Red. Gold Summer ended up behind the leader. Gold Quand Tu Dors got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Pointing Duchess, Tempting Thought, Gold Quand Tu Dors, Livermorio Vox, Flower Red, Wolly Feeling, Walking Lily, Gold Summer. A bird flew just in front of Gold Summer who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Flower Red took the lead after 1000m. Gold Quand Tu Dors didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Gold Quand Tu Dors saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Gold Quand Tu Dors sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Wolly Feeling was first on the homestretch followed by Gold Quand Tu Dors and Flower Red.

Henrik Svensson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Wolly Feeling started to galopp and lost 30 m. Ove A Lindqvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and Walking Lily started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Gold Quand Tu Dors won the race after a spectacular finish.
