One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Copacabana Hoof found a gap and took the lead.
Star Mountain followed before
Walk On.
Star Mountain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Wake Mijn Staart took the lead rather easily.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
Wake Mijn Staart today. It continued in the lead.
With only a little left of the race
Wake Mijn Staart galoped for 50 m.
Walk On suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Copacabana Hoof won.
Walk On came in second.
Star Mountain caught third place.
